What better way to relaunch my rebranded blog - formerly known as Under Construction - The Button Masher than an article about a button mashing game, eh?!
So I present to you - the 'Hack 'N Slash Showdown' - a three-way fight between Dante of DmC, Kratos from God of War and Raiden from the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The team at IGN Asia Pacific wanted to create something fun related to these three button mashing games (button combos and whatnot, they are still button mashers, alright?!) and since we found this cool guy from the Philippines who's pretty nifty at creating 8-bit characters, I suggested we try it out with him, and suggested that he create 8-bit sprites of these three characters. Voila! Final product.
It's a light-hearted, fun piece to begin with so if you want to take the argument to a serious level, I suggest you Google for 'getting a life' while you're at it.
